Coming from a distance, only the few connoisseurs would immediately discern the distinctive aura emanating from this blazing phenomenon. While it’s staring menacingly at you down the road, you quickly come to the realization that this creature hides under its bonnet more than its subtle exterior would suggest. Although it may look like an angel with its Grand Prix white suit, be advised that this car is nothing but a beast ready to chew up the tarmac laying in its way.
The myriad of carefully chosen parts brace this vehicle for an aggressive, clean and sharp exterior. Amongst the more noticeable modifications, a Mugen FRP front spoiler was used to grace the front ensemble, and a Mugen FRP Hardtop encloses the entire seating area. A dry carbon fiber duckbill spoiler was also installed to add some aerodynamic properties on Brian’s S2k. The rest of this roadster is left unmolested, as Honda’s engineers had already done their homework on this shell.
Zeal XS coilovers keep this fiend firmly planted, wherever it may roll, while ASM provide firmness with its various suspension bits; GT front tower bar, floor ladder bars, front and rear lower arm bars all add to the stiffness of the suspension. Do-Luck ACS sway bars wrap this complete suspension package with 33 millimetres of rigidity in the front and 31 millimetres at the rear.
A set of custom-painted Prodrive GC-07c, wrapped in sticky Bridgestone Potenze RE-01R, keeps this beauty rolling, as more heads turn, completely infatuated by its looks. Thanks to one of his primary sponsor, Brian can make sure to stop at the red light. This white beast is equipped with a custom orange 6 pistons caliper and the complete brake kit provided by Endless USA.
Now we move on to the best part; its high-strung power plant. Mugen seems like the name of the game when Brian built this machine. The ambient air first gets sucked in through the beautiful Mugen carbon fiber intake system. Sparks are sent flying down by the ignition coil, dressed again by a Mugen carbon fiber cover, and fuel is sprayed to this entire mix to produce the shrieking power. What’s left is then collected through a Mugen 2.2l. exhaust manifold, to be finally released in the wilderness, out of a Mugen titanium sports exhaust system.
And just when you’d consider yourself satisfied with this masterpiece, Brian chose to go the extra mile by garnishing the interior with more Mugen debauchery. All this power needs proper harnessing, so redundantly, Mugen was chosen to offer bucket seating. Mugen racing II steering wheel and shift knob finally connect the driver to the machinery for the perfect alchemy.
Judging from his car, owner Brian Jeong must be a perfectionist, as even the minutest details received special care. The interior is covered in custom alcantara leather with red stitching; the oem antenna was replaced with a Spoon sports one; and even the license plate bolts received the Mugen treatment. This harmonious piece of art definitely screams perfection from all angles.
