Sport Compact Performance made its annual appearance in Montreal, Canada this past week, the 3 day show was held once again at the Olympic Stadium bringing with it some of the top show cars on the east coast. Intuned Online was not only there to cover this year’s event but we also participated with a booth of our own which supported some of the top teams in North America. H

ighlights from the show included Team New Image as they continued their 2008 points chase for the best team in the country, which I think they may have achieved brining some of the best cars, a mascot and taking home some of the top awards of the show with Ryan Ramnarain’s IS300 and Kenny Vinces’ wide body civic hatch. R-Squadron represented Canada in a big way leading with a Top Secret G35. Team Emotion represented with one of Intuned Online’s earlier feature cars; Kevin Lee’s Evo, they also brought along the hottest RHD RSX in the country and a JDM XB. Castrol/GM unveiled this year’s tuner car which was a candy red Cadillac CTS-V.

The participant who traveled the longest distance would be Falken Tires who traveled all the way from California bringing Auto Fashion’s VIP Lexus as well as the unforgettable Falken models Eri Moriyama and C.J. Gibson. Although there is no certainty in the future economics of North America which might have been apparent at the show this year; which seemed to have a smaller number of attendees compared to last year. It still provided a lot of entertainment and continued to show just how dedicated the people in the tuning scene are.

We will anxiously wait to see what SCP has in store for next year. In addition as Intuned Online continues to expand its territory we are proud that we can bring together people who share the same passion and interests for the tuning scene. Intuned’s unique approach allowed us to have cars from all over in our booth to help us celebrate our one year anniversary.

We would like to thank all those who came out to support us at SCP and give special thanks to Karen Kai, Team New Image, R-Squadron, RCT Performance and Auto Concept for helping rock our booth.
