The Ontario tuning season started on March 14th at Performance World Show. PWS is the event that announced the beginning of screaming tires, Police tickets and bikini shows.
PWS was held from the 14th through 16th of March at Toronto’s International Center. This year PWS decided to collaborate with Darknights National to offer us more diversity. Our photographer Kevin Saunders went to the show and brought us back some great coverage.
PWS is well known for bringing us spectacular old school and antique cars. The new collaboration with Darknights supported an invasion of import tuners. In fact, that’s what I’m really interested in and frankly, I found antique modified mafia style cars pretty nice, but overall I don’t give a F$#% .
Let’s get back on what we interested us most; Darknights. This show was out of the
Market for awhile (rumors said they were missing sponsors). This year they came back in full force and brought us nice tuners car. As you know, the JDM scene is getting quite popular; we weren’t that surprised to see Volk Racing and Work wheels everywhere. Our friends from Teknotik were in attendance with their sponsored S2000.
Team ETC was also there to show off their 2 Castrol projects which appeared numerous times during the 2007 season. When will they bring us a new project? I bet at SCP9 =P
Car shows are nothing without the beautiful half naked ladies. Luckily Kevin enjoyed taking pictures of them; on the floor the Ikon models got a lot of attention as well. For those who don’t know who they are we invite you to visit our SCP7 article. Darknights also had bikini contest and a lot of petite ladies
We are happy that Darknights returned to the scene and hope to see that show again in 2008.
